I’m quite concerned about the doctors’ dominance over the pharmacists and other health workers in the hospital setting. It’s frustrating. The Industrial sector is also growing but it’s still a long way off the mark. Hopefully as we go along, I’ll explain some of the challenges I perceive it faces.

As a new pharmacist, one of the areas that intrigues me is the position of laboratory services in healthcare and the impact of wrong and faulty diagnoses in clinical practice.
I hope to work with you all to solve this pressing needs in our society.
Thank you all.
As a new pharmacist presently working in the community practice, one area that interests me is ensuring that patients are rightly informed about the medications they use, and properly educated on the dangers of drug abuse and misuse which is the order of the day in Nigeria and the need for community pharmacies to be more interested in the therapeutic outcome of the patient rather than the income generated.
I hope we all work together to be built as distinct pharmacists who are set to be the game-changers in the profession.
Thanks in advance for the opportunities that are attached to this program.
As men of honor, we join hands.

Long before the completion of my undergraduate study, the concept of interprofessional collaboration amongst healthcare professionals has been something I hoped to see become a reality, believing that it would help the development of not just the Nigerian Healthcare system but also the development and advancement of Pharmacy practice.
I believe strongly that the next generation of healthcare professionals must embrace this concept and put it into practice if we desire a better healthcare system.
I hope this program will avail me the tools and skills to make this a reality. I look forward to getting all that would help me ensure that the practice of our noble profession gets better.
Thank you.
As a new pharmacist what intrigues me most is the pharmaceutical care aspect of the profession, the need for patient compliance, and positive therapeutical outcomes.
I hope this program gives me an extra edge to make a positive difference in our profession… and also helps me see things differently.
Thank you.
The area of pharmacy practice that interests me is the community practice. This is because I can make direct contact with the patients (unlike the hospital practice in Nigeria where this is still lacking). This is where the goal for patient compliance and not just adherence can be met. The rate at which drugs are being misused and abused is saddening and I would grab every opportunity to correct these errors to build a healthier nation.
I look forward to getting equipped with skills and knowledge that would be helpful in eliminating unhealthy practices as it relates to patient compliance with dosage, self-medication, and drug abuse. I consider it a great privilege to be a part of this program. Thank you.
In my profession as a pharmacist, my goal is to improve the quality of life of my client and to achieve outcomes. So I preach pharmaceutical care at any area of practice I find myself and I look forward to a time when the patient would be our primary focus in the profession.
I am glad to be part of this forum and I look forward to maximum participation in all that it has to offer. Thank you.
