CORPORATE GOVERNANCE (Week FIVE)

Governance refers specifically to the set of rules, controls, policies and resolutions put in place to dictate corporate behaviour.
Why should you understand this? Understanding this helps discern good and bad governance cultures which can make or mare a company no matter how big.

While large corporate organisations are employing the best practices and processes out of many years of operations, smaller businesses tend to ignore them for one or more reasons. The purpose of this module is to guide Elite Pharmacists to BUILD in good governance practices and perspectives into their own enterprises or to carry the message and translate it into the organisations they work in irrespective of size and orientation. In addition, they become custodians of building business longevity and sustainable growth into the pharmaceutical sector of the country. This never grows old. It is an essential differentiator as a leader in the industry.
