Partners for Impact
The Pharmacists Leadership Stimulant Program (PLSP) is a 7-month learning program developed by Advantage Health Africa in partnership with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN), to promote leadership, innovation and career-growth, among early-career pharmacists.
PLSP Is More Than A Training
- The PLSP program targets motivated student pharmacists and recent graduates (within 5 years).
- It equips participants with essential knowledge and skills to succeed in the evolving healthcare field.
- The program offers online courses, webinars, projects, and peer interaction on communication, management, entrepreneurship, and healthcare-specific topics.
- Participants receive mentorship throughout the program.

Our Process
Within a dynamic learning environment, the PLSP is delivered through a digital and virtual experience, in the following order.
ENROLLMENT
Eligible candidates apply to the PLSP providing a statement of interest and relevant information. Coaching: Training begins within the cohort group, with a series of mentorship sessions and webinars.
Coursework
Participants have to complete a series of online courses developed to stimulate holistic personal and professional development. Peer group discussions of course materials happen in the PLSP cohort community.
ACTIVITIES
In the course of the program, participants tackle a series of projects and case studies developed to promote practical application of learnings. The program also features ‘town hall’ meetings, virtual games, and other events.
Networking
Beyond individual training, the PLSP encourages participants to get to know one another and form strong relationships that promote collaborative projects that solve problems and stimulate career growth.
Graduation
At the end of the program, participants gain a future-oriented perspective on the evolving pharmacy landscape, prepared for the exciting possibilities that await. They become part of a supportive network of “Elite Pharmacists” committed to making a global impact.
